01 / Battery types accepted

We process all major Li-ion chemistries.

Submit batteries from any source: EV packs, consumer electronics, industrial UPS or grid storage systems.

NMC

Nickel Manganese Cobalt

The most common chemistry in EV batteries and energy storage systems. BESA processes NMC 111, 532, 622 and 811 variants.

Common sourcesElectric VehiclesConsumer ElectronicsGrid Storage
LFP

Lithium Iron Phosphate

Preferred for long cycle life, safety and thermal stability. Contains no cobalt and focuses on Li and Fe recovery.

Common sourcesCommercial EVsStationary StorageSolar Systems
LCO

Lithium Cobalt Oxide

High cobalt content makes LCO valuable for secondary material recovery. Primarily sourced from portable electronics.
